Successful Adoptions We take pride in our thorough adoption process, which ensures that potential adopters can provide a safe environment, nourishing food, regular veterinary care, appropriate attention, and an understanding heart. Our honesty about each cat’s needs and the potential costs of their care has resulted in a phenomenally high success rate.
Community and Support As a member of the Laguna Woods Cat Club, you’ll have access to a community of like-minded individuals who share your love for cats. You’ll also receive support and guidance from our experienced team in fostering, adopting, and caring for your feline friends.
Exciting Events and Meetings Join us for our monthly meetings, held on the 2nd Wednesday at 12:30 in Clubhouse 5. While meetings are paused during the summer months and the Christmas-New Year holiday period, they provide a great opportunity to connect with other members, share stories, and learn more about our programs.

Fostering Program
OUR FOSTERING PROGRAM Our fostering program focuses on well-mannered, friendly, and mature cats. Each cat is evaluated to ensure they are sociable, friendly, and suitable for adoption. Relinquishing owners are responsible for ensuring their cats are in good health by providing necessary vaccines, blood tests, teeth evaluations, and vet records.

Adoption Program & Process
Our Adoption Program Our primary goal is a successful adoption: finding a loving and safe forever home for the special cats who have entered our program. It’s important to us to ensure that potential adopters can provide a safe environment, nourishing food, regular veterinary care, appropriate attention, and an understanding heart. Our thorough process results in a phenomenally high success rate.
Our Adoption Process
- Visit lagunawoodscatclub.com and click on “adoptable cats.” Also check out our kitties on Pet Finders and Adopt-a-Pet.
- Complete an Adoption Application and email or mail it to the address on the form.
- Contact the listed person for the kitty that interests you and arrange a meeting.
- Arrange a home visit. We will identify possible hazards or places where the cat could get into trouble.
- Arrange for the transfer of the kitty and their belongings to their new forever home.
- The adoption fee will be applied at the finalization of the adoption.

Any Laguna Woods Village resident interested in cats is eligible for membership. Nonresident cat lovers are also welcome. Membership Form
Dues Membership dues are $20.00 per year for individuals / $30.00 for households.
