A Spiritual Home for Growth, Fellowship, and Worship
The Laguna Woods Bible Club, sponsored by Compass Bible Church and led by Pastor Roi Brody, offers a nurturing environment where residents of Laguna Woods can come together to explore and deepen their faith. Our meetings are designed to provide enriching expository preaching, soulful worship, meaningful fellowship, and dedicated prayer time.
Our Weekly Gatherings
Where and When We Meet
Join us weekly at the Clubhouse 3 (Performing Arts Center), Dining Room 2. Each gathering begins with a warm welcome, a hot cup of coffee or tea, and delicious Krispy Kreme Donuts—setting the stage for a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Worship and Learning
Our sessions start with a time of worship in song, beautifully accompanied on the piano by talented resident members. This musical worship prepares our hearts to receive God’s Word. Pastor Roi Brody delivers insightful expository sermons that delve deep into the Bible, equipping us with the knowledge and tools necessary for living a life dedicated to Christ and sharing the good news with others.
Interactive and Supportive Environment
Following the sermon, we hold a question-and-answer session where you can ask about the message or seek clarity on aspects of the Christian faith you may not fully understand. This is a time for open dialogue and deeper understanding, making each meeting both enlightening and engaging.
Prayer and Community
We value the power of prayer and dedicate time for prayer at each table group. This is a moment to pray for one another, our community, and our country, strengthening our bonds and lifting each other up in faith.
Fellowship and Lunch
After our spiritual activities, we break for a delicious lunch provided by our hosts at Compass Bible Church. This is a perfect opportunity to build relationships, enjoy fellowship, and discuss the day’s message in a casual setting.
