South African Springboks Club
Village residents are getting together like never before! Rachel Barnes has started the South African Springboks club, aiming to unite fellow South Africans in the Village. Rachel and her husband, Samy, moved here from San Diego and are eager to find other South Africans. The club, named after the iconic antelope, is all about socializing and giving back. Broadway Music Lovers Club
Calling all Broadway fans! Elissa Kaplan Senter and Kate Barclay have launched the Broadway Music Lovers club. It’s non-performance-based and focuses on the rich history of Broadway musicals. Their first meeting features Broadway performer Genette Lane sharing backstage stories. Join them on Thursday, June 13, at 5:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 3. Glass Club
Unleash your inner artist with the new Glass Club! They’re dedicated to stained and fused glass techniques. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned artist, join the workshops and trips to glass art destinations. Visit the glass/lapidary studio at Clubhouse 4 for more details.
Silver Singers
Love to sing? The Silver Singers of Laguna Woods perform at the Healthy Aging Center for dementia patients. They sing folk songs, opera, and classic tunes. Interested in joining? Call David Korts at 949-597-0209.
