The Equestrian Center features a comprehensive riding program designed for residents and their sponsored guests. With lessons and guided trail rides available, participants can explore the scenic surroundings while honing their riding skills. Skilled instructors ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, and once an adequate skill level is achieved during assessment lessons, residents can sign up for guided trail rides.

Community Events to Enjoy
In addition to riding, the Equestrian Center hosts a variety of community events throughout the year. Summer Saddle Club barbeques provide a perfect opportunity for socializing over good food. The Harvest Hoedown offers festive fun, and Easter at the Equestrian Center delights children and grandchildren with an egg hunt.
The Saddle Club of Laguna Woods Village, established in 1966, has long promoted interest in horses and horsemanship. The Equestrian Center continues this tradition, offering a welcoming space for all visitors.

The Help the Herd fundraising program, created by the Village Community Fund, ensures that the horses at the Equestrian Center receive the care they need. The Equestrian Center is located at 24312 El Toro Road, Laguna Woods, CA 92637. Business hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. Tours are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 2 p.m., and on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 12:30 and 2 p.m. The riding program operates from Wednesday through Sunday.
