In Laguna Woods, at seventy,
Where golden years unfold,
A new chapter’s just beginning,
With stories yet untold.
The sun dips low, a gentle glow,
On paths of endless green,
Where friendships bloom and laughter’s song,
Is heard in every scene.
In Laguna Woods, I start anew,
With every step, I cheer.
The wisdom of a lifetime’s span,
The joy of simple things,
In every dawn, a fresh hello,
In every dusk, heart sings.
At seventy, I plant my roots,
In soil rich and kind,
And blossom in this haven sweet,
With peace and love entwined.
